Constructing Parallels in GeoGebra

You can use GeoGebra to construct parallels. If you want to construct a parallel through a point, follow the instructions here.

Construction of Parallels

1.
Open Algebra View and Graphics View under GeoGebra icon View in GeoGebra icon Menu.

Draw a line. If you are given a specific line, draw it instead.
3.
Choose the tool Parallel line GeoGebra icon, which you can find by first clicking the fourth tool (Line GeoGebra icon), and then the second tool in the list.
4.
Click on the line, then move the cursor to where you want the parallel drawn. Click to draw it. You have just constructed a parallel line using GeoGebra!
